Privacy Notice

Last updated: 20 May 2025

1. Who we are

Neighborlore operates at neighborlorex.pro and is based at 87 Yaowarat Road, Samphanthawong, Bangkok 10100, Thailand. We run a small marketplace connecting people with local experiences in Bangkok. You can reach us at [email protected] or by phone at +66 89 142 6705.

This notice explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We aim to keep this readable — not a document you need a lawyer to get through.

2. What information we collect

When you contact us through the website form, we collect the details you provide: your first name, last name (if given), email address, phone number (optional), and any message you write. We use these to respond to your enquiry and to confirm bookings.

We may also collect standard usage data automatically when you visit the site — things like pages visited, device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. This comes through analytics tools, described further in section 5.

3. How we use your information

Your contact details are used to reply to your enquiry, confirm experience reservations, and send the pre-session notes mentioned at booking. We don't use your email to send marketing messages unless you've clearly asked us to.

Usage data helps us understand which parts of the site are working well and which aren't. It doesn't tell us who you are specifically.

4. Legal basis for processing

We handle personal data in line with applicable Thai data-protection law and the local legal framework governing personal information. When you submit the contact form, your consent is our basis for using those details to follow up. In some cases — such as handling an existing booking — our legitimate interest in delivering the service we've agreed to provide is the relevant basis.

You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we've already done lawfully before that point.

5. Cookies and tracking

The site uses cookies. Some are necessary for it to function; others help us understand traffic patterns or support advertising activities. You can manage your cookie choices through the preference panel on the site, or read a fuller explanation in our Cookie Rules page.

6. Third-party processors

We use a small number of third-party tools — analytics software and, where configured, advertising pixel services — to understand site performance and support our business activities. These tools receive limited data (typically anonymised or aggregated usage data) and are bound by their own privacy policies. We don't sell personal information to third parties.

7. How long we keep your data

Enquiry and booking correspondence is kept for up to 24 months, after which it's deleted or anonymised. If a booking is confirmed, we keep enough detail to handle any follow-up or accounting requirements. Usage analytics data is typically retained for up to 14 months, depending on the tool in use.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to show you what personal data we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, or delete it where there's no ongoing reason to keep it. You can also ask us to stop using your data for particular purposes. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with a brief description of your request. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

9. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us — including using encrypted connections (HTTPS) for data in transit and limiting access to contact details to the people who need them. No online system can be made entirely without risk, and we don't claim otherwise.

10. Children

The site is not directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has submitted their details through this site, contact us and we'll remove the information promptly.

11. Changes to this notice

We update this notice when something meaningful changes — a new tool, a different way of handling data. The date at the top of the page reflects the last revision. Continuing to use the site after an update means you've seen the current version.
